As one of Austria’s leading cable car companies, we’re constantly striving to expand our services at the Hintertux Glacier, to construct state of the art lifts and cable cars, as well as to upgrade the pistes and snowmaking facilities.
In summer 2011, a new 10-gondola cable car was built. This was the first worldwide 10 gondola cable car (with heated seats) of Doppelmayr and it leads from the Tuxer Fernerhaus (2.660m) up to 3033 meters above sea level.
On 1st of December 2011 this cable car was solemnly inaugurated!

365 days of snow at the Hintertux Glacier!

At the Hintertux Glacier - Austria's only all-year-round ski resort - you hit the heights: Ski runs as far as you can see and fantastic panoramic views from the dolomites to the Zugspitze, Worldcup-Halfpipe, Funpark and beautiful sunterraces. A fascinating spectacle of nature and sports, guaranteed to arouse indescribable feelings in every skier, carver, snowboarder, tourist, hiker or sunbather. NEW! Snow making on the 12-km descent "Schwarze Pfanne" to the bottom of the valley.

Ski & glacier world Zillertal 3000

The glacier circuit with 72,000 metres of descent and a height of 15,000 metres is the ultimate Tux Winter Highlight. Start your run, for example, from the sunny plateau of the Rastkogel down the Panoramic Descent to the Penken, back up with the "Tux150" cable-tramway and on via the Eggalm and the Eggalm Valley Descent to Lanersbach. Those who want to enjoy more highlights can catch the Tux Sports Bus on to Hintertux and hit the heights on the Hintertux Glacier.
