New Lifts
The Westgipfel III double chairlift, will be replaced by a comfortable and fast 8 man gondola (new: Schattberg Sprinter). Karlift Weisbachlift (New: Schönleiten 6 man chair) will also be rebuilt and changed into a new 6 man chairlift including heated seats and weather protecting
bubbles.

New Lower Station forthe Leoganger Lift Company
The lower station of the Leoganger Bergbahnen (lift company) will be completely rebuilt. A newly constructed sports centre incl. ski rental, ski service and local food stores are just a few of the latest improvements which will provide you with additional comfort in Winter 06/07.
The parking situation will be extended through an underground carpark, providing a further sixty spaces. You are now able to reach the ski lift on skis across the flat roof. For our small guests, a separate kids entrance has been created.

Leogang and neighbouring communities in the Glemmtal Valley have joined forces under the auspices of the Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang “Ski Circus” to create a ski area comprising around 200 kilometres of slopes, making it the biggest contiguous ski region in Austria. Setting out from Leogang, the Asitz Lifts carry you into the heart of the Ski Circus. Waiting times are virtually non-existent; a state of affairs virtually guaranteed by our 55 ski lifts, lifts that are constantly being modernised. The Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Ski Circus was espe-cially busy working on upgrades during the past winter season.
The ski area has something for everyone: family-friendly, broad and thoroughly enjoyable southerly slopes, plus runs that serve up all kinds of sporting challenges, such as the World Cup hill on the 1984m-high Zwölfer – where Austria’s own Stefan Eberharter became a two-time World Champion in 1991 – and the steep north hill on the Schattberg (2020 m), which drops all the way down into Saalbach.
