The Leonhardi Church is a branch church of the parish of Murau.

St. Leonhard's Church rises on a hill south of the town of Murau near Grünfels Castle and is surrounded by a defensive wall. The church is a Gothic building of yellow tuff, designed in the first third of the 15th century according to the model of St. Leonhard in Tamsweg with all the architectural and technical subtleties. As early as 1439, the church, built on the site of the former castle chapel of St. Catherine, is known as a pilgrimage church.

The Leonhard church was renovated on the outside in 1994-1995 and on the inside in 2001 at great financial expense of the parish of Murau.
