Family Mitteregger warmly welcomes you to “Hotel Gasthof Bachschmied”.
Our family-run hotel is located in Hintermoos, a district of Maria Alm, and represents a magnificent starting point for ski enjoyments of every description. We are directly situated at the valley stations of the 6er chair lift “Schwarzeckalmbahn” and the 8er gondola "Hintermoosbahn" in the Ski area “Hochkönig”.

Everybody should appreciate the holidays in our house. Parents as well as their children. Precisely why our hotel even provides an in-house children’s playroom and a playground.
In the winter season
the Greater Ski area “Hochkönig” offers an enormous choice of downhill skiing and cross country ski tracks. The position of our hotel provides the direct entrance in the 6er chair lift “Schwarzeckalmbahn” and the 8er gondola "Hintermoosbahn" and the access to the ski slope.
We personally look after our guests and their wellbeing.
