Five stations to become a glacier expert

Situated just 300 metres below the summit is the Zugspitze Glacier which can be conveniently reached by means of the Glacier cable car. Here you can gain an all-round experience of the elements: Wind, rock, snow, ice and sunshine define the spectacular scenery of the Zugspitze. Our new Glacier Adventure Route features five multimedia adventure stops with plenty of thrilling surprises. You’ll be
amazed when you learn more about the elements of the Zugspitze world, about glacial weathering, firn snow and ferner. Find out more about the eternal ice on the different kinds of alpine landscape which you can explore on the Zugspitzplatt. The Glacier Adventure Route starts out straight from the SonnAlpin glacier restaurant. Don’t forget to wear a sturdy pair of shoes!

Die Öffnung des AlpinParks Zugspitze ist abhängig von der Schneelage. Je nachdem wie schnell der Schnee schmilzt, werden die Stationen des GletschErlebniswegs und des AlpinParks aufgebaut.
