Riding stable Sunranch

The four legged housemates from the Sunranch Flora, Ronny, Sandra, Twister, Gibbly and others more, are Haflingers, handsome, robust and extremely suitable for riding in mountains. During your holidays on our horse farm you can collect first experiences in horse keeping or in riding with our fine horses. You can use our riding area in front of our horse stable. Young and old ones are invited to have fun in riding on our horses.

These are happy animals that have the opportunity to run free. In the evening, the horses are released onto a large, fenced pasture at the farm. In the morning, they are brought into the stable to be tended, and for "work". A whistle from Sergio is all that is needed, and the horses trot happily from the pasture into their stalls—a sensational show.

Sergio Marchesini is in charge of the stables. He’s a true horseman: a pro and an excellent rider as well. He has been keeping and training Haflinger horses for years. The horses are very reliable, even with strangers: they are willing to follow every movement of the bridle, sensitive to the most subtle pressure from a leg. Their surefootedness even in difficult terrain is truly impressive.

Children can have their first experience on a good-natured, four-legged creature in the riding area in front of the stalls. Of course, adults can take their first riding lessons here as well. Anyone who wants to see more of the area can do a guided ride. Full-day rides with a stop at a mountain hut for a bite to eat are also possible.
