Via ferrata Jegihorn

On Jegihorn (3206 m above sea level) is the highest and probably the most beautiful via ferrata in the Western Alps, with a magnificent view of the mountains - from the Weissmies to the Montblanc area.

The tour leads from Kreuzboden (2400 m.ü.M.) to Weissmieshütte (2726 m.ü.M.) and further to the entrance (1 ¼ hours). Over 400 steps, hooks, 1000 meters of steel cable and 5 ladders.The summit can be reached in 3 to 4 hours, the lookout Jegihorn (3206 m.ü.M.). The tour requires climbing experience and equipment suitable for via ferrata. In summer, the Bergsportschule Weissmies organizes a guided tour every Tuesday.
