The Loquitz Cycle Trail is a cycle trail that connects the Saale Cycle Trail with the Rennsteig Cycle Trail to the south. The route starts at Ziegelhütte between Steinbach am Wald and Lauenhain, leads via Ludwigsstadt, Probstzella, Unterloquitz to Kaulsdorf and covers a difference in altitude of around 457 meters.

Always pay attention to the road safety of your bike. The cycle path runs partly on public roads. Watch out for other road users and ride with foresight! It is also better to always have something to drink with you and sun protection in hot seasons.
For those arriving by train, the tour can start at Ludwigsstadt, Probstzella, Unterloquitz or Hockeroda stations.
There is an excellent bus connection between Ludwigsstadt and Eichicht.
