Waar wintersport en avontuur hand in hand gaan: het skigebied Schlossalm-Angertal-Stubnerkogel, gelegen in het hart van Skigastein, is het grootste aaneengesloten skigebied van de regio. Het skigebied biedt een breed scala aan pistes en is dankzij attracties zoals de hangbrug en het uitzicht op de Glockner een populaire bestemming voor avonturiers. En terwijl kinderen in het Familypark Gastein of op de Funslope de sneeuwsport leren waarderen, gaan gevorderden de uitdaging aan op de spannende Skimovie-racebanen.

Afdalingen met meer dan 1.000 m hoogteverschil beloven afwisselend pisteplezier – perfect verbonden met moderne liften en kabelbanen.
Bijzonder populair: de Hohe Scharte Nord (afdaling H 1 op de pistekaart) – met een lengte van 8 km en een hoogteverschil van 1.440 m een van de langste afdalingen in de Oost-Alpen.
