Glungezer, a mountain in its own right!

Ideally groomed slopes, fantastic panoramic views and the comfortable combined lift: this is the stuff of winter sports dreams. At the Glungezer in Tulfes they come true; from winter 2021/22 you can also experience tobogganing fun at 2000 metres above sea level. Touring evenings are also back this winter: every Monday and Tuesday the gondola lift to the middle station is in operation until 10.15 pm.
The ultra-modern 10-seater gondola lift takes just six and a half minutes from the valley station in Tulfes in Tyrol to the middle station at Halsmarter, 1565 metres above sea level. Gondola or chairlift: sports enthusiasts can choose from these two ascent options from the middle station at the "Tulfein Express" combined lift, which opened in 2020.

Arriving at over 2000 metres, you can enjoy ideally groomed slopes of pure, grippy snow and the incomparable view over the Inn Valley, the massive Karwendel Mountains, the Stubai Alps and the Tux Alps. Little snow foxes learn their first turns in the lovingly designed Kinderland on easy slopes, while advanced skiers prefer the more challenging trails in the upper part of the ski area. Two designated winter hiking trails invite you to discover the magnificent mountain nature on foot.

New, snow-sure toboggan run.
The "Tulfein Express" takes tobogganers from the Halsmarter middle station up to 2000 metres above sea level. A snow-sure pleasure! The descent is over 3 kilometres long with ten hairpin bends back down to the middle station. Always in view: The fabulous panoramic view, which also makes the entire ski area on the Glungezer unique. In addition to special, attractive tickets for tobogganers, there will also be a toboggan rental service.
