In Winter – Skiing at Hochkar

At up to 1,808 metres above sea level, Hochkar is one of the highest ski resorts in Lower Austria. With 19 kilometres of slopes, 8 lifts and 2 conveyor belts, it offers a variety of runs for families, beginners and experienced skiers.

Whether you prefer relaxed turns on wide slopes, more challenging runs or freeriding when conditions allow – everyone can enjoy winter at their own pace. Beautiful views of the Ybbstaler Alps and cosy mountain huts make a day on the slopes even better.

In Summer – Mountain Moments with a View

Hochkar is also a great destination for outdoor activities in summer. Varied hiking trails, the 360° Skytour with its suspension bridge and viewing platform, via ferratas and other mountain experiences offer plenty of ways to spend an active day in nature.

If you prefer a more relaxed pace, simply enjoy the views, fresh mountain air and a break at one of the mountain huts.
