Come skiing into the Skiwelt Wilder Kaiser - Brixental and experience the perfect winter holiday! The Skiwelt Wilder Kaiser - Brixental not only is the largest, connected skiing region throughout Austria, it is also one of the largest skiing regions within Europe!

The skiing region: the Skiwelt offers over 90 high-modern lifts, 250 km of slopes and more than 70 traditional Alpine huts. Over 200 km of slopes can be artificially prepared for skiing, thus perfect snow conditions can be guaranteed! Austria is well-known for its numerous huts and its majestic view towards 3000 metres high mountains. This and much more can be experienced during a hiking tour through deep snow, a romantic horse-drawn sleigh ride or a glass of "Glühwein", befor the Aprés-Ski party is going to start! The service teams at the Alpine huts are looking forward to welcoming you at the Tyrolean skiing region. Wilder Kaiser - the utmost fun experience!

If you do not like to go skiing, we can offer you the possibility to explore your surroundings by foot! Perfectly prepared winter hiking trails await you, past idyllic places and far away from the bustling lift stations for skiers.

The region Wilder Kaiser offers 113 km of prepared hiking trails. Snow-shoe hiking enthusiasts enjoy the freedom of the mountains upon request with a certified tour guide. If you are a real pro, you can even enjoy a couple of days or a weekend-trip onto a mountain summit!

If you want to experience unforgettable cross-country skiing tours - the family region Wilder Kaiser offers 77 km of perfectly prepared cross-country skiing runs via one of the most beautiful nature sceneries in Tyrol! In Scheffau we offer a special treat: an artificially snowed and lighted run with a mobile Biathlon-laser shooting arrangement (e.g. St. Johann in Tirol)!

The distance between Scheffau-town centre and the valley station of the cable car Scheffau is about 800 metres. Due to a lack of parking places during high season, Scheffau offers the following possibilities to reach the cable car station:

SKI BUS:
The ski bus operates several times daily from 8.30 am to 12.00 pm and from 1.00 pm to 5.00 pm. There is a bus stop right in front of our guest house! For guests, who hold a skiing pass or a guest card, the transfer is free of charge!

SHUTTLE BULLY:
A rather different way of transportation is offered by a shuttle bully, which can transport up to 16 persons at once! The shuttle bully should not replace the ski bus but rather functions as funny alternative to get back to the hotel!
