Nendaz ligt in het hart van een van de grootste skigebieden van Europa, in de „4 Vallées“. Het omvat meer dan 400 km aan pistes en 92 skiliften. Het skigebied van Nendaz strekt zich uit van 1.400 m tot 3.300 m. De meeste pistes liggen boven de 1.700 m. De pistes die naar het dorp leiden, worden kunstmatig besneeuwd met meer dan 60 sneeuwkanonnen. Dit garandeert afdalingen naar het dal van half december tot half april.
