The snow-sure winter sports resort of Saas Almagell offers the best opportunities to experience winter in the high mountains with all your senses.

2 chairlifts and 4 ski lifts provide access to the Furggstalden/Heidbodme ski area with 12 varied kilometres of pistes for beginners and experts alike between 1,672 and 2,400 metres above sea level.

The slopes start right outside the front door and in the evening most guests ski back to the house.

The meeting point for beginners is the lift in the village centre. After the first attempts at walking or sliding, the urge to go higher increases. The sunny Hochplateau Furggstalden, an old Valais hamlet at 1,900 metres, is the meeting place for the whole family.

Whether you're a skier or a piste wizard, whether you're a beginner or an expert, whether you're young or young at heart: with the varied range of pistes in Furggstalden/Heidbodme, everyone will find their own personal skiing experience.

But it is not only in the range of slopes that the resort deliberately focuses on the wishes, needs and expectations of the family. Especially in this day and age, it is important to us to bring you and your whole family to Saas Almagell so that you can spend, experience and enjoy your free time together.

Should Peter not be kind to us, we will put our snow facilities into operation. Practically the entire ski area can be snowed in by machine.
